This year's International Women's Day theme was #InspireInculsion. Shavonne Reed and the Future Health NOW community gathered at the marvelous LeMeridién Perimeter Hotel in Northwest Atlanta for a festive day party with flair.
Some of Atlanta's most distinguished leaders joined Shavonne in a lively discussion on have we can unite as OPUA-Optimistic People Unified for Awareness to release burdens placed upon women, especially women of color.
Our collective activism will continue to champion change from grassroots to wide-scale momentum; we will forge positive change, harmony and unity as we value and support our differences. We had a live performances by amazing talent. We discussed hot topics and the leaders in the room addressed prioritizing self-care, the importance of equal pay and embracing equity to drive success for ALL.
