Speaker Agreement

For all who have engaged with Future Health Now Foundation, Inc. (FHN), we deeply appreciate your contributions. The following Speaker Agreement outlines the expectations and responsibilities of speakers chosen for the FHN events.

1. Proposal Submission and Content

• I have reviewed the guidelines for a successful proposal provided by FHN and integrated these guidelines into my entry.
• Upon submission of my idea, it becomes final and cannot be modified. While minor details can be updated, the core idea or essence of the session must remain unchanged. Sessions are selected based on a combination of content, speaker experience, and description. If a session was selected, it was chosen as submitted. Any significant changes to the content or speaker team beyond minor details need approval by the program team. The program team and FHN staff reserve the right to remove a session at their discretion.
• My submission includes my idea(s) and all related materials, such as videos ("Materials"). I understand the risks associated with sharing proprietary information online and grant FHN permission to make these Materials accessible to the public.
• I agree to enabling closed captions for any Materials I provide with my application.
• Any speakers I specify will be regarded as part of my proposal. I confirm that I am supplying accurate contact details for each speaker and that each speaker has been informed of their details being shared with FHN, agreed to the speaker terms, and has given their consent to be part of the session.

2. Communication and Conduct

• I will act as the Primary Contact for this proposal and will promptly inform FHN of any changes.
• I have familiarized myself with and agree to abide by FHN Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy. 
• If my proposal is approved, I'll confirm my acceptance promptly and meet all set deadlines; failure to do so might lead to my proposal's exclusion.
• FHN may require adjustments to my proposal's format or category.
• FHN has the authority to make decisions concerning late entries, withdrawals, and programming. Submitting this application does not guarantee my participation.
• FHN reserves the right to moderate or limit comments on proposals if deemed inappropriate.

3. Rights and Permissions

• I hereby grant FHN a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license in any copyright, trademark, right of personality or publicity, or other proprietary rights to photograph, film, and record my participation (collectively referred to as "Recordings"), as well as to use my name, image, likeness, headshot, bio, and voice, all as provided or uploaded by me or my representatives (collectively referred to as "My Likeness"). FHN may display, distribute, reproduce, publicly perform, edit, translate, advertise, promote, and exhibit the Recordings and My Likeness by any method or device now known or hereafter devised. This license extends to any use in connection with FHN events, programs, services, courses, media, promotions, or any other related activities. I understand and agree that there will be no financial or other monetary compensation to me for such use of My Likeness and the Recordings. No further approval is required for promotions or materials incorporating My Likeness, and Future Health Now shall be without liability to me for any use of My Likeness.
• All participants acknowledge that FHN and its associated logos, designs, and marks (collectively, "FHN") are the sole property of FHN. All rights in these FHN assets, including all goodwill accruing from their use, shall inure solely to FHN.
• Limited License: Subject to these terms, FHN grants participants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the FHN solely in connection with the Event and in a manner approved by FHN. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
   

4. Responsibilities and Indemnification

• I assure that all information in this application is truthful and doesn't violate any rights or laws.
• I indemnify FHN against any liabilities stemming from any breach of my declarations here or any violation of these Terms and Conditions.
• I understand that FHN may make changes to enhance the event experience or due to unforeseen circumstances. I acknowledge that I have no recourse against FHN if changes occur or if my application isn't approved or is canceled.
• Usage Restrictions: Participants shall not:
  a. Modify, alter, or create derivative works of the FHN assets.
  b. Use the FHN assets in a way that could cause confusion or that disparages, maligns, or harms the reputation of FHN.
  c. Use the FHN assets in connection with any product, service, or activity that is not affiliated with or endorsed by FHN.
  d. Register or seek to register any domain names, trademarks, logos, or any other sign that incorporates, is confusingly similar to, or dilutive of the FHN Trademarks.
• Proper Acknowledgment: All representations of the FHN assets must be accompanied by an acknowledgment that they are owned by FHN or a ™ or ® symbol, as appropriate, and as directed by FHN with a link to www.futurehealthnow.org/awe.
   
• Termination: The license granted herein may be revoked by FHN at any time for any reason. Upon termination or expiration of this agreement or the license herein, participants shall immediately cease all use of the FHN assets.

5. Compensation

• I understand that FHN provides two (2) complimentary tickets per speaker plus additional VIP networking opportunities. If you still choose to support FHN, please see the tickets and memberships section.
   
• Each speaker receives an individual speaker visual and a speaker profile. We feature all our speakers on our website, in the event platform, and on social media. Additionally, all speakers are eligible to enter the annual Voices of Equity Awards at a discounted rate.

6. Speaker Profiles

• I will fill out my speaker profile, including full name and a photo, with the understanding that my session may not display properly if this information is not provided in time for the schedule.

7. Session Integrity

• Sessions are selected based on a combination of content, speaker experience, and description. If a session was selected, it was chosen as submitted, and any changes to the content or speaker team need approval by the program team. The program team and FHN staff reserve the right to remove a session at their discretion.

8. Session Preparation

• I understand that speaking at FHN events signifies both an honor and responsibility. If unable to dedicate the necessary time and energy, I will notify the FHN planning team so my session can be replaced. I am also responsible for:

• Communicating with other panelists in advance if participating in a group.
• Spending significant time preparing for my session.
• Informing my track chair or program manager about schedule conflicts, session format changes, technical requests, or changes to my speaker lineup.

9. Obtaining Consent

• I am responsible for obtaining the necessary consents, permissions, and clearances to display or use any materials (both visual and audio) in my session.

10. Promoted Content

• My presentation is exclusively designed for informational purposes. I will abstain from using it to endorse or market any specific company, brand, or product. My professional ties will be subtly represented by referencing my name, title, and affiliated entity.

11. Staying on Topic and On Time

• I pledge to stay focused on the topic outlined in the title and description of my session, ensuring the information presented adheres to the designated difficulty level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced).

12. Code of Conduct

• I understand that my presentation, including slides and remarks, must adhere to the Code of Conduct for this event. This includes using humor judiciously and avoiding any content that might be considered harassment. Any violation can result in removal of my session recording.

13. Unacceptable Behavior

14. Session Recording

• I acknowledge the media policy and understand that my session will be recorded and made publicly available following the event.

15. Legal Terms

• All disputes under this agreement will be governed by the laws of the United States, Delaware. I agree to indemnify Future Health Now Foundation, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from my participation.

• By agreeing to these terms, I commit to upholding the standards, expectations, and responsibilities laid out in this Speaker Agreement for all Future Health Now Foundation, Inc. events.
